Ian Hutchison:

Ian is the Operations Manager for Cardac Systems Inc. and has been in the security field since 1987. In 1987 he became a security technician with Passcard Systems and was a very early provider of advanced integrated security solutions. In 1991, he started Cardac Systems Inc. to create a company specializing in IT based security integration. Ian is a registered Class M Electrician (Voice Data Video), is AMAG certified and has industry certifications on all manner of systems. Ian has deployed systems for hundreds of clients from very large to small one-person operations.

Dean Bousquet:

Dean is the General Manager for Cardac Systems Inc. and has been in the security, fire and life safety industry since 1996. A graduate of Red River College's Electronic Technology program, he started his career as both a Security and Certified Fire Alarm technician. His career progression saw him migrate to other roles including Security Systems Sales and Project Management. A career highlight was being the lead sales representative and then Project Manager for the Security Systems at the Winnipeg Airport. Following that project, he progressed into an Operations Manager role overseeing 42 employees in 3 branch offices across the Prairies.

He had spent the majority of his career working for large corporate security firms where he was able to leverage industry best practices to increase the level of customer satisfaction. His technical and systems design experience includes Intrusion Alarms, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercoms, Patient Wandering and other specialized security systems from a host of industry-leading system manufacturers.

He brings his wealth of systems experience, industry knowledge and customer focus to Cardac and its valued customers as someone who can be relied upon to meet or exceed our customer's expectations.

Russ Leggett:

Russ is our senior Integration Technician and has worked in the fire alarm industry for eight years; in commercial/retail security for six years; in residential security and audio video for five years; and in industrial automation for three years. His experience includes two years in very high-security environments, upgrading security systems at financial institutions. During his career at Cardac Systems Inc., in addition to his role as a Security Integration Technician, he has performed as Project Supervisor and/or Assistant Project Manager on numerous projects, including new construction and major/minor renovations of varying size and complexity. He has worked on access control, intrusion, intercom, and video surveillance systems at the University of Manitoba, Manitoba Hydro, Province of Manitoba, and a number of private corporations. Russ has a Limited specialized trade electrician license (Class M) (voice data video) and has DSC, Axis, and Salient certifications, in addition to in-depth experience with Genetec, Kantech, and AMAG systems.

Dave Crabb:

Dave is an Integration Technician and has worked in the electronic security industry since the mid-1980's, either as a professional security integrator employed by a private firm, or as a sub-contractor. For many years, he has owned and operated his own business, selling, servicing, and installing security, fire alarm, card access, and CCTV systems. In addition to his role as a Security Integration Technician, he has over five years of experience as a Commercial Project Manager for AAA Alarms and has extensive experience as Project Supervisor and/or Assistant Project Manager with Cardac Systems Inc., managing a variety of projects including new construction and renovations of diverse sizes and complexity. He has worked on access control, intrusion, intercom, and video surveillance systems at the University of Manitoba, Manitoba Hydro, Province of Manitoba, and a number of private corporations. Dave has a limited specialized trade electrician license (Class M)(alarm installer) and has Kantech and Salient certifications, in addition to in-depth experience with Genetec, AMAG, and DSC systems.

Chris Sveinson:

Chris is an Integration Technician and has worked in the electronic security and communication industry for over 20 years. Chris has a limited specialized trade electrician license (Class M) (voice data video). Chris has worked with a variety of companies as an Integration Tech over the years. His career as a Security Integration Technician with Cardac Systems Inc. began in 2017; his diverse background lends itself well to Cardac's role as a Technology Solutions Provider.

Rob Davidson:

Rob is an Integration Technician and has worked in the electronic security and Fire Alarm industry for over 4 years. Chris has a limited specialized trade electrician license (Class M) (voice data video). Chris was a member of the Armed Forces before starting his career in the trade. Chris worked as a technician with a variety of companies, before starting his career as an Integration Tech with Cardac Systems Inc. in 2017; his diverse background lends itself well to Cardac's role as a Technology Solutions Provider.
